Research:

• shows that by age 5, 90% of a child’s brain structure has developed.
• into the quality of current child care programs indicates that only 15% are of high quality.
• shows that by 3rd grade, children from low- income families have vocabularies of around 4,000 words, while their middle income peers have vocabularies of around 12,000 words.
• has determined for every dollar invested in a high quality early learning program there is a benefit of $7 to society—savings on educational programs, crime costs, welfare costs, and profit from taxes from higher wage earnings.

Milestone Children`s Corner must rely on donations from our community, foundations, corporations, and church groups. The majority of our donations are used for scholarships, and sliding fee scale assistance for very low income families.

Any amount of donation are highly appreciated

* $ 20 one day of childcare

* $ 100 one week of childcare

* $ 500 5 weeks of summer camp for school aged children

* $ 1000 assist with playground renovations

* $ 5200 one year of childcare for one child

* $ 7500 6ft fence for security of kids on playground and property

* $ 15000 for used 15 passenger childcare bus
